The transmission and dissemination of light forms our perception of the world. How sunlight reflects off trees, rivers, or soil create totally different impressions. Inspired by that quality, FULI’s designers created a series of carpets that represent different dimensions of light. In this design, the designer how sunlight travels through the forest, shining through the gaps between the trees, creating a web-like pattern on the ground. The intricate lines paint an abstract picture of nature. Matte silk weaving adds a texture that reflects light, making it a carpet that changes with the natural light outside.
This design is a part of our ‘Discovering Nature’ collection, inspired by the ever-changing natural world around us. FULI turns its perceptions of light and shade, rivers and lakes on the earth into the carpets, leading people to re-discover the beauty of nature.
In the early days, there are beautiful trees with exquisite light and shadow, and mottled light and shadow overlap. Whether it is sprinkled on the lush green trees, or on the sparkling water surface, or scattered on the earth at will, it will show different scenes.
The inspiration comes from the autumn sun. Through the yellowish leaves, you look up. The little light and shadow can be colorful, monochromatic and ever-changing. The light in the gap is like a net, which changes different feelings. The lines are used as the refraction of light, which is reflected by the network structure. The shading is used as the abbreviation of the landscape, and the colors of natural elements are extracted for performance.
The mottled light and shadow are staggered and overlapped, and the light is refracted by lines, which is reflected by the network structure, showing thousands of changes at low temperature.
The special and ingenious design of light and shadow connects the natural scenery with people’s life. Through the color characteristics of various materials under different light, it shows a shadowy mottled scene. Imagine that this carpet is paved in a well lit living room and a quiet and comfortable study. In the afternoon, the sun shines and the mottled light and shadow scene makes people intoxicated and obsessed.
