From 11th to 14th of November 2021, FULI presented a new collections of carpets and tapestries designed by 10 internationally renowned artists.
As art has taken a more important role in our everyday lives, FULI is delighted to work with an exceptional group of contemporary Chinese artists to transform their ideas onto rugs and tapestries.

The new collection, FULI ART, hopes to push the boundaries of the medium through an experimental approach in design and exquisite craftsmanship. Art can be functional and tactile. With this limited-edition collection of art carpets, we wish to invite people to touch, feel, and live with art, bringing new energy into their ever evolving homes.
In November's 2021 ART021 Shanghai Contemporary Art Fair, we are honored to introduce this new collection of artist carpets and tapestries and become the first and only carpet exhibitor in the nine years since the fair was founded.
Since 2013, ART021 has been a driving force in Shanghai's booming contemporary art scene. This year’s fair introduced a whole section focused on collectible designs. At the four-day fair, many artists, designers, and collectors, including the artists we collaborated with, came to the FULI booth to get a closer look at the the collection.
The 10 artists shown in this exhibition all worked closely with FULI to bring a pioneering and experimental approach to carpet making. Lu Xinjian transformed his iconic "City DNA" series onto a duo of weaving carpets. Wang Yi and Peng Jian's contemporary approach to painting and sculpture were pronounced on a soft and tactile surface for the first time, while aaajiao and Jiang Zhi's works focus on the relationship between the virtual world and the real world. Ma Ke's design embody a spiritual fable. Four female artists, Ai Jing, Ye Mingzi, Juju Wang, and Wang Ruohan, also brought their own sensual and powerful works. The artistic voices coming from this diverse group of artists made this exhibition truly unique.

Although this year's ART021 has come to an end, our pursuit of art has not stopped. We will continue to work with pioneering artists to bring new works into out FULI ART collection. We look forward to seeing you again for the 10th anniversary of ART021 in 2022!
